Getting six pack abs is the secret dream of pretty much everybody who hits the gym on a regular basis. Being able to expose your stomach and have people see nothing but ripped muscles is the ultimate goal for many of us. However, there are two main problems with this. One is that for most of us, our ab muscles just simply aren’t that developed. The second, and more difficult problem to surmount is that even if our abs are well developed, they are covered in so many layers of fat that nobody can see them. In this article, you’ll learn some tips that will help.

Naturally, doing the right exercises is important, if only half the battle. It’s no use being skinny if your muscles aren’t worth looking at. Crunches are a great place to start. Lay on your back, and bend your knees, so your feet are flat on the floor. Bring your hands next to your ears, but don’t touch your head. Slowly lift yourself up into a sitting position. Do as many of these as you can.

Another great stomach workout is called the “mummy” sit-up. Lay down on your back, with your feet straight out. Without moving your legs or lifting them off the floor, slowly sit up into a sitting position. As you do so, keep your arms steady at your side. When you finally reach the sitting position, your arms should be in front of you, parallel to the floor. Hence the term, “mummy.”

This next one is tough. Get into the push-up position, as if you are on top. Your arms are extended all the way. Slowly lift up on hand from the floor, and rotate your body in that direction. Keep rotating until your trunk is perpendicular to the floor, then slowly being yourself back down to the upright push-up position. Repeat for the other side, and do as many reps as you can.

Once you start doing these, you are halfway there. The other half, of course, is diet. Stay away from as many processed foods, especially carbohydrates as you can. Eat lean protein, and healthy fats. Healthy fats are things like olive oil, fish, almonds, and other nuts. Unhealthy fats are any fat that is solid at room temperature, like animal fat, butter, and anything that’s in fried food.

When you attack your abs from both angles, exercise and diet, it will only be a matter of time before you’re talking showing off your abs at every opportunity.

One of the best devices to help you to quickly get into shape is the Ab Lounge 2. Many people believe this is the best device on the market to get six pack abs. Find out more today.
