Knowing What Natural Skin Care Products Are
There are so many nuts responsible for the skin problems that we are experiencing and, frankly, we have more than enough of them. Sadly, most of us are usually unaware of the causes of our skin issues. Many people fondly wear jewelry metals, fragrances, and cosmetics that contain synthetic chemicals without being watchful of its detrimental effects to their skin. The aforementioned are the common causes of allergies, dry skin, rashes, and other skin problems. Most of us even have to deal with wrinkles, dark eye circles, stretch marks, scars, acne, spider veins, and other skin issues that usually come with the stress we get from work, our home, and our life in general. And, with the world’s ever erratic climate and sudden shoot of temperature in extremes, there is just no excuse anymore for giving our skin lesser care than it deserves.
However, we mostly make a mistake by using products that claim to correct sagging skin, lighten dark circles around our eyes, remove acne, or cure spider veins, but in a depressing reality, do not do so. Instead, these products become the cause of our skin problems. Lucky for us, there have been recent developments with skin care. Today, skin care products contain ingredients that are naturally-derived. In other words, these skin care products use botanically sourced elements currently existing in or formed by nature without the use of synthetic chemicals that may harm the body or the environment and these natural skin care products are made in such a way to protect the integrity of the ingredients.
Some of the common skin care products that have naturally-derived sources are powders, lipstick, creams, lotions, and body oils. History reveals that usage of these products date back to several thousand years ago, and, believe it or not, these products have somehow become indispensable to human life. Some lotions contain animal fat and olive oil substances. There are even cold creams that are a mix of beeswax, rose water, and olive oil. With the popularity of using natural resources, other products such as body and facial soap, lightening creams, skin toners, hair removal wax and others have also been made from naturally-derived ingredients.
Examples of the natural resources are: honey, which has natural antioxidant, anti-microbial, and moisturizing properties that help protect the skin from damage of the sun’s rays; and shea butter that is known for its moisturizing and emollient properties. Other natural ingredients in skin care products are jojoba oil, safflower oil, rose hip seed oil, beeswax, witch hazel, aloe vera, tea tree oil, and chamomile.
With every rich, natural ingredient in skin care products, you can have skin that doesn’t only feel smoother, but also look smoother, more radiant, and youthful. It’s a wise choice to use natural skin care products. After all, we only want what’s best and healthiest for our skin.
